History

 

1.During the Japanese colonial ruling period, the Office, Fengyuan (Registration) Office of Taichung District Court, Taiwan was located in now the site of Fengyuan Branch of Taiwan Business Bank in Fongxi District, Fengyuan City.

2.After Taiwan retrocession in 1945, the Office was upgraded as Fengyuan Land Office administering Fengyuan Township (upgraded as Fengyuan City in 1976), Neipu Xiang (changed to Houli Xiang), Shengang Xiang and Tanzi Xiang. 

3.In 1955, the Office was relocated in Experimental Farm of Ruisui Elementary School in Xishi Community, Fengyuan Township (now the Parking Lot adjacent to Zhongxing Rd. affiliated to Taichung City Government).

4.In 1976, the Office moved to the current site at Floor 2, #21, Xian St. Fengyuan City(on June 19, 2012, Fengyuan Household Registration Administration moved to #2, Shizheng Rd., Fengyuan District and Floor 1 has been taken over by the Office to provide services).

5.On October 1, 1997, Yatan Land Office began to administer Daya Xiang and Tanzi Xiang.

6.On December 25, Taichung City and County merged and the Office was upgraded as Fengyuan Land Office, Taichung City.
